The Equity Book Club is a small step towards creating a community that the WA-ACNM affiliate so desperately needs. This book club is one tiny, but mighty push for racial, gender, and social equity. The book club further promotes the WA-ACNM affiliate's mission and goal to bring an equity lens to our professional and personal development. Each (virtual for now) gathering will be a safe space for minds to come together, to remember midwifery ancestry, to unlearn racism, and to disrupt oppression.
